Our Story
The Connection Assembly was founded in the early 1950's as First Assembly of God in Thomasville. To this day, the church still has family members of the founding pastors that call The Connection Assembly their home church. In the late 1970's the church moved from its original facility to 2123 Smith Avenue. In 1980 the church started construction on the current facility to expand and build the sanctuary that is still in use today. In 2010 the First Assembly of God rebranded its name and is now The Connection Assembly.
On September 21, 2014, Dr. Jason and Lynn Puckett became the senior pastors of The Connection Assembly with just twenty-six members in attendance. Endeavoring in a major church revitalization effort, the leadership and dedication of Pastor Jason and Lynn Puckett has allowed the Connection to become a church of incredible influence both locally and abroad!
